Brighton are considering whether to make a bid for Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Seagulls are not the only team interested in the Dane either, with Romano claiming a number of other Premier League and Bundesliga clubs are pursuing his signature:

While some fans on Twitter fear a break up of the Hoops’ squad following Ange Postecoglou’s departure, most are not overly concerned if O’Riley is sold:
£12m plus and bye bye

I think we need to strap in over the summer period.
There is going to be quite a bit of coming & going at the club, every more so since Ange has departed

O’Riley is like Elynoussi turns up once every 6 games

Good player but not sure I'd miss him. Like Rogic, he's just too slow for me.

This summer's rebuild is probably going to be the biggest yet

Not that bothered, to be honest, turns up when he feels like it.

O’Riley has been pretty inconsistent
While the 22-year-old has put in a number of impressive performances for Celtic over the course of the season, there have been times when he has struggled to make an impact.
Some of that can be blamed on O’Riley still being relatively young, but he hasn’t always looked that impressive during his first full campaign in Scotland.
The midfielder clearly has talent and he is attracting plenty of interest
Four goals and 14 assists in 52 appearances is not a bad return and O’Riley’s performances have turned the heads of scouts south of the border.
In addition to Brighton, the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Newcastle and Crystal Palace have all been credited with an interest in the player over the past year.
Which of those teams, other than the Seagulls, are preparing bids for O’Riley, we shall have to wait and see, but it appears Celtic will have a battle on their hands keeping hold of the Denmark Under 21 international this summer.
