£40m Rated Celtic Marksman Makes Transfer Admission Amid United And Chelsea Interest

Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard has admitted he is flattered by reports linking him with a move to the Premier League, but he is concentrating on his form for the Hoops.

Reports in England have linked the 22-year-old with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, as well as Arsenal, in recent months, and speaking out about a potential transfer, Edouard remained pretty tight-lipped:

“It’s very flattering but I still have two years left on my contract at Celtic. I want to concentrate on that. Personally, I’m feeling good. The team is playing well so I am happy.”

Edouard is in red-hot form at the moment, having bagged eight goals in his last six league matches, leading to former Celtic striker Chris Sutton to claim that the Frenchman is worth at least £40m.

The forward now has 23 goals in all competitions for the club this campaign, surpassing the 22 he scored in the whole of last season for the Bhoys.

With the January transfer window now closed, Celtic fans will be delighted to have Edouard, at least for the rest of the campaign, but beyond that, it is hard to tell where his future lies.
