Celtic are close to agreeing a deal to sign Rubin Kazan winger Sead Haksabanovic, according to reports in the Russian media.
The Montenegran international is believed to have a valuation of around £6m but the Hoops are expected to sign the player for only a fraction of the price.
Haksabanovic favours playing on the left flank, but he can also be deployed on the right wing or as a number 10. Supporters on Twitter feel he will be a decent addition to Ange Postecoglou’s squad:
If this goes through it will be a great steal

Ange loves givin himself headaches – Jota, abada, maeda and forrest to pick for two positions. Forrest seems the obvious one to miss out and Jota a definite on that left so abada, maeda & SH to battle it out. Great for squad rotation just hope we can get the balance right for all

If Haksabanovic does make the move to Scotland, it’s unlikely that we’ll see the 23-year-old in action straight away. The player has been training on his own since his loan spell at Swedish side Djurgardens ended back in June.
He is undoubtedly a talented player, having been picked up by West Ham as a youngster, before going on to be capped 28 times by his country. If he does finalise his move to Celtic Park, he will have to beat off fierce competition for a place in the starting lineup, with the likes of Jota, Liel Abada, Daizen Maeda and James Forrest all vying for game time.
