Celtic striker Patryk Klimala came off the bench to score his second goal of the season in the 5-0 win over Ross County yesterday afternoon.
The Pole finished superbly after latching onto a pass from Mohamed Elyounoussi. He had already missed a gilt-edged chance after coming on but he did not make any mistake when presented with another opportunity.
Supporters on Twitter are optimistic about Klimala’s future at the club and some are very confident that the forward could rack up the goals, even if he remains a bit-part player for Neil Lennon’s side this campaign:
a new cult hero in the making

He seems better when he doesn’t have to think, just instinct….the one before his goal he shouldn’t have take the extra touch….the one he scored he didn’t think just hit….

I like him, pace, power & will get plenty chances.

He usually misses a sitter then scores a harder goal after it.
Weird type of chap.

3 bad misses in two game….but you are totally right, it is a confidence thing. Keep using him like this and it will come! ☘️

He's different to anyone we have, and will selflessly chase down defenders and hassle to win the ball…. Something we need to do if pressing high up the pitch

will be a good player for celtic his movement is superb and has pace to burn. could grab you a goal everytime he comes on with that pace n movement once his confidence is up

It must be said that Klimala remains pretty raw but, at 22 years of age, that is to be expected. Barring his earlier miss, the Polish Under 21 international looked the part and he does seem to have the knack to be in the right place at the right time to get on the end of things.
