Newcastle have prioritised the signing of Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard ahead of Rangers forward Alfredo Morelos, according to reports in England.
Magpies boss Steve Bruce is said to have made the decision after a series of video meetings with the club’s recruitment department, and it appears a summer bid for the Frenchman is now likely.
Fans on Twitter agree with Newcastle in favouring a bid for Edouard ahead of Morelos, but don’t they believe he’ll be moving st St James’ Park:

It has been reported that Celtic may look to sell Edouard for around £30m but it is likely that the Scottish champions will demand a lot more than that, especially if interest in the player increases.
The 22-year-old has also been linked with moves to Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United over the past few months, and Newcastle may have to up their offer if any of these clubs do up their interest in the forward.
