Celtic winger Marian Shved was given a rare run out in the 3-0 win over Clyde in the Scottish Cup yesterday afternoon. However, it was a brief appearance with the Ukrainian only being given five minutes to make an impact after replacing Mohamed Elyounoussi.
Supporters on Twitter were delighted that the 22-year-old was given a chance by manager Neil Lennon, although some are still perplexed about the reasons behind his lack of match action this campaign:

Looks like hes learned enough English to play 5 minutes that's nice of neil

Lennon has previously explained that Shved’s struggles with learning English have hampered him settling in at this new club, although he also said that he hasn’t been impressing in training either.
The Ukrainian international’s substitute appearance yesterday was only his third game for the Hoops this season, and he will be hoping for more game time when his side face St Johnstone in the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup at the end of this month.
