Celtic captain Scott Brown scored the winning goal against Kilmarnock yesterday before being sent off for his overzealous celebrations.
A disappointing draw looked to be on the cards for the Bhoys with Killie having been down to ten men for the final 15 minutes of the game.
However, Brown stepped up to score a deflected effort which extends Celtic’s lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table to eight points.
Hoops fans on Twitter were overjoyed with the result:
I really wasn’t fussed how we got there today. Just as long as we won.

Last minute winners define title challenges, and Brown’s winner could turn out to be a crucial moment in the season. After Rangers’ 0-0 draw against St Johnstone the day before, it was important for Brendan Rodgers’s side to take advantage.
With the three points picked up at Rugby Park, they now have the same total after 26 games as they had last season, with the only difference being they have lost two more games this campaign compared to last year.
