Leicester City, Arsenal and AC Milan are all interested in signing Celtic centre-back Kristoffer Ajer, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Norwegian international has been linked with the Rossoneri before, while a move to join up with former boss Brendan Rodgers has also been suggested previously.
However, the Gunners’ involvement is new, and it could lead to a bidding war between the three clubs with some reports suggesting that Ajer could fetch in the region of £25m.
The 21-year-old has had an inconsistent season for the Hoops, and his future has also been called into question in recent weeks following comments from his agent.
Tore Pedersen spoke out last month stating Ajer could leave Celtic Park in the summer but manager Neil Lennon later shut down transfer talk by stating the player has never expressed his desire to switch teams.
The Norwegian has two years left on his contract with the Hoops and if a sizeable bid is received for the player, they may well consider selling up.
