Arsenal have made a “solid enquiry” for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard, according to journalist Ian McGarry.
Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, the reporter claimed that the Hoops have slapped a €25m (£21.6m) price tag on the 23-year-old, who will have just one year remaining on his current deal in the summer.
The Gunners are not the only team interested in Edouard, though, with Serie A sides Roma and AC Milan, as well as Premier League club Leicester City all believed to be in the running.
After a poor first half of the season, Edouard has really picked up his performances in recent weeks, having scored nine goals in his last nine league appearances.
Celtic have very little room to manoeuvre when it comes to the France Under 21 international, due to his contract situation, but the number of clubs interested in the forward should help the Hoops get the transfer fee they are asking for.
