‘Average’ ‘Erratic’ ‘Very Poor’ Fans On Twitter Criticise Celtic Ace’s Start To The Season

Despite providing two assists against St Mirren in the 2-1 win on Wednesday night, some supporters have been pretty disappointed with Celtic midfielder Ryan Christie’s start to the season.

His inconsistency appears to be the major bone of contention among fans on Twitter, who believe the 25-year-old is much better than the performances he is currently putting in on the pitch:

Even against St Mirren, there were a number of poor crosses into the box, despite delivering the pass for James Forrest’s header, as well as winning the penalty.

After scoring 19 goals and providing 16 assists in 43 appearances last campaign, the expectation levels for Christie are much higher this season and he will need to put up with every performance being scrutinised.

The Scottish international will, no doubt, play an important role in the Hoops’ attempts to win the Scottish club’s tenth league title in a row, but it will be hoped that his end product and decision making improve in upcoming matches.
