Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths surpassed John Harton’s goal total for the Hoops by scoring against Motherwell on Wednesday night.
The 29-year-old took to Twitter this afternoon to recognise the milestone and supporters replied by backing the player to go on to score a fair few more for the club:

Griffiths has returned to prominence since the winter break, with the Scottish international partnering up with Odsonne Edouard to make a lethal partnership over the past few weeks.
While Griffiths has bagged three goals and one assist in five league games since mid-January, Edouard has been in even better form, scoring seven in the same five matches.
The prolific streak could well fire Celtic to another league title if they can continue in the same vein over the coming weeks and months. After Griffiths’ well-documented troubles off the pitch, fans will be delighted to see him back at the top of his game.
