Celtic And Chelsea On Alert With In Demand League One Starlet Poised To Become Available For Bargain Price

MK Dons left-back Matthew Sorinola has turned down a new contract with the English League One side and will be available for a nominal fee this summer, according to TEAMtalk.

The website reports there are a whole host of clubs, including Celtic, who are interested in snapping up the 20-year-old.

Rangers, Chelsea, Leeds, Bournemouth and Norwich are also mentioned as possible suitors, while there are believed to be teams in France, Spain and Belgium keen on signing Sorinola.

The Englishman has played most of the season as a wingback for the MK Dons, being employed for the majority of matches on the left-flank.

Sorinola has recorded some impressive numbers as well, scoring one goal and contributing six assists in 43 appearances this campaign.

The fact that the defender is keen on getting first-team football straight away could also hand Celtic the advantage. With Diego Laxalt set to return to AC Milan after his loan spell, there will be space in the first-team squad for a player to compete with Greg Taylor.
