Celtic Attempting To Complete Stunning 12M Triple Raid As Recruitment Drive Gathers Pace

Celtic have now set their sights on signing Rennes right-back Brandon Soppy, with two other deals likely to be sealed very soon, according to multiples reports in the UK.

Soppy, who is valued at around €5m (£4.25m), is expected to leave Rennes this summer with under a year remaining on his contract, while transfers for Rubin Kazan’s Carl Starfelt and Maccabi Petah Tikva’s Liel Abada are set to be completed imminently.

The Hoops have agreed a €5m (£4.25m) fee for Starfelt, but there are doubts that he’ll be able to face FC Midtjylland in the first leg of their Champions League qualifier next week due to quarantine rules.

There is more confidence about Abada’s participation with reports suggesting the 19-year-old is likely to be in Glasgow within the next day or so to finalise his move to the Scottish club.

With the Israeli winger expected to cost £3.5m, it would take Celtic’s total spending for the summer up to £12m, if all three deals are signed off.
