Celtic Battling 3 EPL Clubs For 5M Rated Forward With 5 Goals And 5 Assists This Season

Celtic will be fighting three English Premier League teams in the race to sign Peterborough forward Siriki Dembele in the January transfer window, according to reports in England.

The Hoops have been keeping tabs on the 24-year-old for a while but it appears that Fulham, Wolves and Crystal Palace are also scouting the striker, following his good start to the season in League One.

Dembele has bagged five goals and contributed five assists in 13 league appearances this campaign, having also finished last season strongly before the campaign was curtailed in March.

Peterborough are said to be holding out for at least £5m for Dembele and it will be interesting to see whether the Hoops do make an offer for the player after previously failing with an attempt to sign Ivan Toney.

The Posh’s Director of Football Barry Fry confirmed their interest in Toney before he moved to Brentford at the start of the season so we know Celtic do keep an eye out for players in England’s third tier.
