Celtic Boss Comes In At 30 As Top 50 Managers In World Football Are Ranked

Celtic head coach Ange Postecoglou has been listed as number 30 in the FourFourTwo‘s top 50 manager rankings.

The magazine does not simply include managers in top European leagues, with the likes of River Plate coach Marcelo Gallardo and Brazil’s Tite also selected to make this a comprehensive list of the world’s best.

Postecoglou has been a huge success since arriving at Celtic Park. Many were sceptical about the appointment of the 57-year-old, having never managed outside of Asia, but he won over Hoops supporters with his attractive brand of football.

Trophies soon followed with a League Cup and the Scottish Premiership title in his first season, and he has subsequently been linked with a number of Premier League teams.

Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola heads up FourFourTwo‘s list, with Real Madrid’s Carlo Ancelotti. Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp, Tottenham’s Antonio Conte and AC Milan’s Stefano Pioli rounding out the top five. Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta is 6th, Chelsea’s Graham Potter is 8th while Rangers’ Giovanni van Bronckhorst is 44th.
