Celtic Dealt Massive Injury Blow With Star Set To Miss At Least ELEVEN Matches

Celtic left-back Greg Taylor underwent an operation on his shoulder yesterday, with it being reported that he could miss up to two months of football.

The Scotland international has been sidelined since the 2-1 defeat to AZ Alkmaar last month when he had to be taken off midway through the first half of the Europa League tie.

After already being on the treatment table for the best part of a month, it was determined that Taylor required surgery to fix the issue.

The 23-year-old is now likely to miss eleven games up until the November international break, including matches against the likes of Aberdeen and St Johnstone in the league, as well as European fixtures versus Bayer Leverkusen and Ferencvaros.

In his absence, manager Ange Postecoglou has employed right-back Josip Juranovic on the left-hand side as well as, surprisingly, Boli Bolingoli who returned from the wilderness to feature in the 1-0 defeat to Livingston last weekend.
