Celtic are keeping tabs on Tottenham winger Jack Clarke, according to the Football Insider. The website claims the Hoops are keen on taking the 19-year-old on a season-long loan ahead of next campaign.
He joined Spurs from Leeds for approximately £10m last July but the teenager was loaned back to the Yorkshire club in order to get more first-team experience.
However, things did not go to plan on Clarke’s return to Elland Road with manager Marcelo Bielsa only picking him to play in three games, with only one substitute appearance in the English Championship.
Tottenham decided to recall the midfielder in January before loaning him out once again to Queens Park Rangers. Unfortunately, due to the postponement of the football season, he has managed just five appearances for Mark Warburton’s side.
Clarke has undoubted natural talent, and it seems Celtic feel he can realise his potential if he moves to Scotland this summer.
