Celtic Eyeing Surprise Loan Swoop For Liverpool Ace Before Transfer Deadline

Celtic have considered a move to sign Liverpool winger Harry Wilson on loan, according to the Scottish Sun.

The Reds were reportedly trying to sell the Wales international on a permanent basis but, after a move to Burnley collapsed, they could be open to sending him out on loan again before the transfer window closes.

It is believed that Celtic are keen on signing a winger but a bid for West Ham’s Robert Snodgrass has been ruled out. Although the Hammers would be willing to let the 33-year-old leave the London Stadium, the Hoops would have to offload a couple of players to make the deal happen.

In terms of Wilson, reports on Merseyside suggest that the Welshman’s future may be tied to Xherdan Shaqiri. The Swiss international has been heavily linked with a departure from Anfield and he does leave, Liverpool may be less willing to let Wilson go as well.
