Celtic Handed Huge Injury Boost Ahead Of Crunch Europa League Clash

Celtic captain Scott Brown is back in full training and will likely travel to Norway as the Hoops face Rosenborg tomorrow night, according to reports.

The 33-year-old has been out since October after having to be substituted during the 4-2 win over Hibernian due to a knee injury.

Brown was pictured playing a full part in training this morning but is unlikely to start the crucial Europa League group game against Rosenborg.

If they win, they could move into second place in Group B if RB Leipzig fail to beat Red Bull Salzburg in the other match.

Celtic are currently level on points with Leipzig heading into the game but are below the Bundesliga opponents due to goal difference in their head to head encounters.

While Brown may not be ready for the starting line up tomorrow, he could return to the first eleven for the League Cup final. The Scottish champions face Aberdeen at Hampden Park on Sunday.
