Celtic Have SEVEN Fitness Concerns Ahead Of Tonight’s Clash Against Livingston

Kristoffer Ajer is the latest name to be added to Celtic’s long list of fitness concerns ahead of tonight’s game against Livingston.

The Norwegian defender has picked up a thigh injury and is rated as a doubt for the game, along with James Forrest (knock), Mohamed Elyounoussi (hamstring) and Callum McGregor (knock) despite being named in the preliminary squad for this evening’s match at the Tony Macaroni Arena.

Jozo Simunovic has already been ruled out with a knee injury, while Olivier Ntcham (calf) and Mikey Johnston (knee) are also unavailable for the game.

It means that manager Neil Lennon has limited options in the centre of defence if he wants to go with a back three. Christopher Jullien and Nir Bitton are guaranteed starters, but the Hoops may be forced into starting Hatem Abd Elhamed as well.

The 28-year-old returned to the bench for the 1-0 win over St Johnstone in the Scottish Cup at the weekend, but he hasn’t played any first-team football since November due to a troublesome groin injury.
