Celtic Injury Report Ahead Of The Game Against Hamilton

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has confirmed that Nir Bitton will be out for a few weeks with a hamstring injury he sustained during the Old Firm derby,

The Israeli injured himself when he collided with an advertising hoarding and had to be substituted before the end of the game at Ibrox.

Another centre-back option, Jozo Simunovic, is also out of contention for the game against Hamilton tomorrow. The Croatian will see a specialist about a problematic knee issue.

Mikey Johnston’s groin injury was confirmed by the player earlier this week, with the winger hopeful to be back for the Europa League group game versus Rennes on Thursday.

Lennon has, though, revealed that Tom Rogic is finally back in full training. The Australian international has not been seen since the Scottish Cup final in May after the midfielder picked up an ankle problem.

Kristoffer Ajer is also available. The Norwegian had been out of action due to a groin injury but was rested during the recent international break and has recovered full fitness.
