Celtic Line Up Move For Cut Price Nigeran Ace As Lennon Plans 2 More Signings Before Deadline Day

Outside of Celtic Park

Celtic are planning to make a move for Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel before the transfer deadline next month, according to the Scottish Sun.

The Nigerian is inside the final twelve months of his contract and the Hoops are hoping to snap up the 22-year-old on the cheap. Crystal Palace are also interested in the midfielder, and with the player stalling on signing a new deal, QPR will be forced to sell to prevent him from leaving for nothing next year.

Osayi-Samuel scored six goals and provided nine assists in 40 appearances last campaign, and he could be one of two new additions made by the Scottish champions in the coming weeks.

Manager Neil Lennon wants to sign another left-back, as well as a winger, and it seems they will continue their pursuit of Charlton’s Alfie Doughty after having their first offer turned down by the English League One side. A bid of £400,000, plus add-ons, is reportedly being lined up for the 20-year-old.
