Celtic Line Up Move For Polish Wide Man With Eight Goals And Four Assists This Season

Celtic are weighing up an approach for Hull City’s Kamil Grosicki, according to reports in the Scottish media. The Hoops are looking to sign another winger before the transfer window shuts and the Polish international has been identified as a possible option.

Nottingham Forest are also believed to be keeping tabs on the 31-year-old, with the Tigers star having less than six months left on his contract at the KCOM Stadium.

Hull do reportedly have the option of extending Grosicki’s deal for a further season, but the Pole is earning a very high wage, which was agreed when the English side were still in the Premier League, and the club are not willing to keep him on the same salary.

Celtic could, therefore, snap up the winger for a relatively modest amount this month, with manager Neil Lennon keen on strengthening out wide following the departure of Scott Sinclair.

Grosicki has been in decent form, having scored eight goals and laid on four assists in 30 appearances for Hull this season.
