Celtic Lining Up Deal To Sign 1.5M Rated Winger Who Has Scored 8 Goals in 24 Games

Celtic are interested in signing Exeter City winger Joel Randall during the January transfer window, according to reports in the UK.

The 21-year-old has been in good form for the English League Two outfit this season, having bagged eight goals and contributed five assists in 24 appearances.

Randall’s contract does expire in the summer but, with Swansea City also thought to be keen on the player, the Hoops may be forced into making a move to sign him this month instead.

Exeter are thought to be holding out for around £1.5m, although that asking price is likely to be slashed as the window goes on if the Grecians are not able to offload him.

Randall is a pretty versatile player, having been utilised as a left-winger, at left-back, on the right flank and, on occasion, even upfront. His ability to play multiple roles and his eye for a goal could make him a useful addition to the squad.
