Celtic Lining Up Move For £2.5m Rated Championship Ace

Wigan winger Jamal Lowe is attracting the interest of Celtic, according to reports in the English media. The Hoops, along with Cardiff City and Millwall, are reportedly keeping tabs on the 25-year-old’s situation.

The Latics are in administration so they will be listening to offers for all of their players this summer. Lowe has had a somewhat disappointing season in the Championship having scored five goals and provided five assists in 44 appearances.

It comes off the back of his previous campaign where he bagged 17 goals in all competitions for Peterborough before making the £2.5m move to the DW Stadium last August.

Lowe generally plays on the right-hand side, and he could well be a potential alternative to West Ham’s Grady Diangana, who the club have also enquired about in recent weeks.

It seems manager Neil Lennon is keen on bringing in some competition for James Forrest ahead of the new season.
