Tomiki Iwata
Defensive midfielder Tomoki Itawa is one of several players that Postecoglou has snapped up from the J-League, alongside the likes of Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi.
While his loan deal will expire at the end of May, Celtic do have an option to buy him permanently. The amount that The Celtic would need to pay is unclear – however, he is still something of an unknown quantity at Celtic Park, having only arrived at the club this month.
He made his Celtic debut in the Scottish Cup tie against Greenock Morton, which the Bhoys won 5-0. He’s also made four appearances for his native Japan.
