Celtic Star Bags Another Three Goals As He Continues To Impress For His Country

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard was in excellent form once again for his country as he scored a hat-trick for France’s Under 21s against Slovakia last night.

The 21-year-old slotted the ball home for his side’s third goal after finding himself unmarked in the box. He then fired home just before half time to make it 4-1.

After the break, Slovakia cut the deficit to 4-3 before Edouard calmly finished to make it 5-3 and seal his hat-trick. The win puts France second in their European Under 21 Championship qualifying group after two matches played.

Edouard’s individual record for the Under 21s is quite outstanding with nine goals from just four appearances so far. He bagged a brace against Azerbaijan in the 5-0 win last Thursday, as well as getting doubles in friendlies versus Albania and the Czech Republic last month.

Celtic fans will be hoping that the forward brings his international form back with him when the Hoops face Ross County on Saturday.
