Celtic Tipped To Challenge Manchester City As Scout Watches 6ft 9 Colossus In Action

Celtic sent a scout to see Solihull Moors striker Kyle Hudlin play last weekend, according to reports in the English media.

The 21-year-old has been attracting a lot of attention after his impressive performances in the National League over the last twelve months, with Manchester City even sending someone to see the forward in action.

It appears the Hoops have also been sucked in by the hype with scout Andy Thorne present to see Hudlin come on as a second-half substitute as his side secured a 1-1 draw against Barnet.

The striker’s most noticeable attribute is his height. At 6f 9, he is the tallest player currently playing professional football in England.

Hudlin is not just known for his aerial presence, though. He was a prolific scorer at amateur level, and he has translated that into goals in the National League, with nine in 34 appearances last campaign.

It is still only the fifth tier of English football, though, so it would be a big surprise if Celtic took a gamble on him.
