Celtic To Sign Leicester Ace As Rodgers Feels Bad About The Way He Left The Club

Leicester City have agreed a deal to loan striker Jamie Vardy to Celtic for next season.

Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers reportedly feels guilty about the way he left Parkhead and as a way of saying sorry he offered the former England forward to the Scottish champions.

Vardy is believed to be happy to make the switch in order to play in the Champions League. The 32-year-old will reportedly move on a one-year loan deal at the end of the season.

Whether this grand gesture will placate Celtic fans, it remains to be seen. The former Liverpool manager controversially left the Hoops at the end of February despite closing in on a treble treble of trophies.

Rodgers had previously stated that he was a boyhood Celtic supporter but he jumped ship for a midtable Premier League side with nothing to play for.

That being said then, expecting such a magnanimous gesture from the Northern Irishman is very unlikely. As you may have gathered, this is an April Fool’s story. Have a good day and don’t believe everything you read on the internet!
