Celtic Will Demand Answers If Arsenal Star Is Released From Quarantine

Celtic will demand that Ryan Christie is released from his 14-day quarantine if Arsenal are successful in their attempts to cut short Kieran Tierney’s self-isolation period, according to reports in Scotland.

Both players went into quarantine on the same day, October 6th, after being deemed as ‘close contacts’ of Scotland teammate Stuart Armstrong who tested positive for COVID-19.

However, Arsenal’s head doctor Gary O’Driscoll is believed to have held talks with the Lothian Health Protection Team, the Scottish Government and the SFA about allowing Tierney out of quarantine early in order to play against Manchester City tomorrow.

With Celtic facing Rangers on the same day, the Hoops will be expecting similar treatment from the authorities when it comes to Christie’s case and they will be demanding answers if the midfielder isn’t allowed to leave self-isolation.

There has been no official word yet about Tierney’s situation but it is believed that there will be further developments before the end of the day.
