Celtic centre-back Christopher Jullien is expected to be sidelined for up to four months with a knee injury, according to manager Neil Lennon.
The Frenchman collided with the post during the game against Dundee United on Wednesday and he had to be replaced six minutes into the second half of the 3-0 win.
News about Jullien’s lengthy injury layoff has not gone down well with fans on Twitter, with many now expecting the Hoops to go into the transfer market to sign another centre-half this month:

Definitely looked a really bad one, especially with his reaction and getting stretchered off. Hope he has a speedy recovery

As soon as it happened it didn’t look good at all, hopefully the big mans okay, but we’re gonna have to go get a class CB in January now.

Considering Shane Duffy’s poor form since his arrival on loan from Brighton at the start of the season, Lennon can’t afford to rely on the Republic of Ireland international.
With Nir Bitton also showing he may not be up to the task after a stupid sending off against Rangers yesterday, Celtic’s recruitment department are almost certainly looking at potential options, especially as Jullien could now miss most of the remaining fixtures.
