EPL Club Set To Rival Celtic In Race For 23 Year Old Right Back

Bournemouth have joined Celtic in the battle to sign Luton right-back Jack Stacey, according to the Daily Mail.

The Cherries have targeted the 23-year-old as a potential recruit this summer, following a successful season with the Hatters.

Stacey made 50 appearances for Luton last campaign, scoring four goals and providing eight assists as his side finished top of League One.

Celtic are in desperate need of a new first-choice right back with Anthony Ralston currently the only player in the squad who can play in the position.

Mikael Lustig has left the club to join Gent on a free transfer, and with the player registration deadline for the Champions League qualifier against FK Sarajevo today, it seems Ralston will be called upon to play in both legs.

The Hoops have made two signings this summer so far. Christopher Jullien joined from Toulouse last week while the signing of Boli Mbombo was confirmed last night.
