“Even Stronger…” Postecoglou Makes Summer Transfer Window Prediction

Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou says he expects the Hoops to have an “even stronger” squad after the next transfer window.

It’s only been a month since the last window closed in January but Postecoglou claims work is already underway ahead of the summer, with the aim of recruiting players that can improve an already formidable team:

“I think if you look at every window since I have been here we have strengthened and we are already doing work to make sure we come out of the next window even stronger than when we enter it. That has got to be our ambition every time we enter this process.”

Postecoglou’s track record in the transfer market has been outstanding since his arrival just over eighteen months ago. The likes of Kyogo Furuhashi, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Reo Hatate, Jota and Carl Starfelt have all been real success stories.

Of course, there is a danger that the Hoops could lose some of these players. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has linked both Carter-Vickers and Starfelt with moves away from Celtic Park in recent weeks.

However, it appears that whatever happens, Postecoglou is confident that the squad will end up being stronger, rather the weaker, heading into next season.
