‘Has Already Caught The Eye…’ Report Confirms EPL Giants Are Scouting 20M Rated Celtic Midfielder

Celtic midfielder Matt O’Riley “has already caught the eye” of Manchester United’s scouts just months after moving to the Scottish club according to the Manchester Evening News.

The local newspaper has reinforced claims made by another source last week that the Red Devils are one of five English Premier League teams keeping tabs on the Danish Under 21 international.

Leicester City and Newcastle are believed to be the two clubs likeliest to make an official bid for O’Riley but Arsenal, Liverpool and United have also been tracking the midfielder’s progress since his move to Scotland.

From Celtic’s perspective, it is thought that they won’t sanction the 21-year-old’s sale unless they receive a sizeable offer for the player.

The Hoops are expected to hold out for a fee in the region of £15m to £20m, which will likely put off teams from pursuing O’Riley before the transfer window shuts later this week.
