Celtic left-back Greg Taylor continued his excellent form as the Hoops thrashed Kilmarnock 5-0 yesterday afternoon.
The 24-year-old played a key part in Kyogo Furuhashi’s opener just seven minutes into the game, threading a neat through ball in behind Killie’s defence.
Taylor has hardly put a foot wrong in the opening weeks of the campaign and supporters on Twitter have been keen to recognise his efforts:
Having a storming start to the season.

Probably our most consistent player these days. He’s been superb the last year, deserves all the plaudits right now! Works hard af, well one Greg! Keep it going! Oddly enough Scotland are blessed with a lot of good left backs these days 😂

It wasn’t long ago that the fullback was regularly criticised for being the weak link in Ange Postecoglou’s first eleven but he looks to have kicked on to another level over the summer.
Some of that is likely down to Celtic signing a genuine competitor for his place in the side. Alexandro Bernabei cost the Scottish champions £3.75m when they snapped him up from Lanus back in July but he hasn’t kicked a ball in anger so far in the Scottish Premiership. If Taylor continues with his current form, Bernabei may be waiting a while for his opportunity.
