Celtic winger James Forrest scored a hat-trick for Scotland in their 3-2 win over Israel last night.
The result means that Alex McLeish’s side have been promoted to UEFA Nations League B, but more importantly, they are now in the playoffs for Euro 2020.
Forrest has been the key to the turnaround in the national team’s fortunes after firing two goals in the 4-0 win over Albania last week.
Celtic fans on Twitter were running out of superlatives for the 27-year-old:
Am I dreaming??! James Forrest – he's beyond brilliance right now.
I. Can't. Believe. It. What. A. Guy.

Forrest has been nothing short of sensational in recent weeks. Since scoring 4 goals for the Hoops in the 6-0 demolition of St Johnstone back in early October, the winger has scored 12 for both club and country, as well as providing five assists.
He has already surpassed the ten assists he made in all competitions for the whole of last season, while he is also closing on the 17 goals he managed for Celtic during the 2017/18 campaign.
