‘He’s Gone’ ‘Here For The 10’ Fans On Twitter Debate Whether Key Celtic Man Will Turn Down Advances From England

The future of Celtic forward Odsonne Edouard has been the subject of numerous column inches in newspapers as well as a fair number of posts online.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle are just some of the names who have been linked with a bid for the 22-year-old in recent months, but the current global situation means there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the transfer market.

When asked about Edouard’s future, supporters on Twitter had differing thoughts on whether he’ll stay:

Due to the deflated prices in the market, the Hoops are more likely to keep hold of the Frenchman for another year. Some English teams may look to exploit the situation but the Scottish club’s board will know he’ll be worth a lot more in 2021.

With Edouard’s contract expiring in 2022, though, Celtic will probably want to tie him down to a longer-term deal, perhaps with the promise that he’ll be let go when they have sealed their tenth title in a row next campaign.
