‘I’d Be On The Phone All Night Offering Him Everything’ ‘Not A Chance’ Celtic Fans Debate Lennon’s Possible Replacement

Former Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe is the bookies favourite to replace Celtic boss Neil Lennon, with the Irishman under pressure following the heavy defeat to Sparta Prague last night.

Howe has been out of a job since leaving the Cherries at the end of last season, but during his time at the South coast club, he took them from the fourth tier to the top flight, playing an attractive brand of football.

Supporters on Twitter have been debating whether Howe is a realistic target. Some believe the Hoops should do all they can to get the 42-year-old while others don’t’ think he will be interested:

Howe’s final season at Bournemouth wasn’t particularly good, with his team being relegated from the Premier League after five seasons, but his previous record is impressive. Three promotions in five years, the LMA Manager of the Year award in 2015 and five years experience in the Premier League make him an attractive candidate.
