Juranovic Drops Transfer Hint Amid Claims That EPL Side Are Tracking His Progress

Celtic fullback Josip Juranovic has responded to speculation linking him with a move away from the Scottish Premiership.

The Croatian international only joined the Hoops from Legia Warsaw in the summer, but his performances have already been noticed by English Premier League side Leicester. When asked about the rumours, Juranovic simply replied:

“I like such stories.”

It must be said that Juranovic also expressed a very strong desire to play in the Champions League in the near future and, for that to happen, his best chance will be to remain at Celtic Park.

If Ange Postecoglou‘s side do finish top of the table, they will go straight into next season’s group stages, barring some unlikely scenarios. Even if they were to finish second, they would still have a chance of making it through the qualifying rounds.

Moving south of the border to a mid-table Premier League side would greatly diminish Juranovic’s chances of fulfilling his ambition, so fans shouldn’t expect his head to be turned that easily.
