Latest Celtic Injury News: Updates On The Fitness Of Juranovic, McCarthy, Jullien And Forrest

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Josip Juranovic and James McCarthy will be in the squad for the match against St Johnstone this afternoon.

Juranovic has been sidelined for nearly a month after picking up a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw against Dundee United.

McCarthy, meanwhile, missed out on the wins over Motherwell and Ferencvaros due to a muscular problem but the Republic of Ireland international is now back to full fitness.

Christopher Jullien and James Forrest are taking part in first-team training but their lack of match fitness means Postecoglou has opted to hold them back for the St Johnstone clash.

Jullien has not played for ten months due to a serious knee injury so it is not a surprise that the Hoops are taking things slowly with his return to action. Forrest, meanwhile, has not featured for the first team since the League Cup win over Hearts back in August.
