‘Looking Forward To Seeing This Guy’ ‘Goal Machine’ – Celtic Fans React As January Signing Scores First Goal For Club

January signing Vakoun Issouf Bayo scored his first goal in a Hoops shirt when he started for Celtic’s reserves on Tuesday afternoon.

The Ivorian slotted home cooly from a tight angle in the 6-0 victory over Dundee at Station Park yesterday.

Fans on Twitter are happy that Bayo has hit the back of the net, but are hoping that the 22-year-old gets more game for the first team.

Interim boss Neil Lennon was in the stands as Bayo scored his goal. The £2m recruit from Dunajska Streda will be hoping he has done enough to be included in the manager’s plans for the match against Aberdeen at the weekend.

So far, the Ivorian striker has made just one substitute appearance for the first team. He came on for a very brief debut against Kilmarnock in the 1-0 win last month. However, he hasn’t featured in any other matchday squad for league or cup games.
