Celtic are reportedly interested in signing Maccabi Tel Aviv attacking midfielder Oscar Gloukh.
The Israeli Under 21 international is believed to have turned down a new contract, and Maccabi Tel Aviv’s chairman has already hinted that the 18-year-old could be allowed to leave during the January transfer window.
After watching a compilation of Gloukh’s recent performances, where he showed his excellent technical skills and finishing ability, fans on Twitter are very much in favour of bringing the playmaker to Celtic Park:

One obstacle may well be the transfer fee. It was reported last week that Maccabi Tel Aviv may hold out for as much as ยฃ8m, although the fact that the player has rejected a contract extension may mean they could have to settle for a lower fee.
Gloukh’s current deal expires in fifteen months’ time so Celtic could well secure his signature for a reduced price in the New Year, as long as there isn’t too much competition for his services.
