Celtic will be releasing a new fourth kit before the end of the season.
Manufacturers Adidas have confirmed that the launch of the new shirt will be later this month, with the release date being Thursday, March, 16th at 8:30 AM.
Supporters on Twitter are liking the new design but they have raised questions about why it’s being released now so late on in the campaign when it may only be worn once or twice by the team:

Like the kit, don't like it being a 4th kit. Why not just make it the away kit next season.

It does seem like Adidas and the club are looking to cash in on the popularity of recent kits. The 90’s inspired black away shirt was out of stock for a while after proving to be very popular with fans.
From the looks of things, they are looking for the same reaction with this darker green kit. Based on the initial responses, it seems it could well be flying off the shelves once it is released too.
