It has been a very long wait to see Marian Shved in action for Celtic, but the Ukrainian delivered the goods almost instantaneously on his debut for the club.
The winger came on as a sub with 20 minutes to go and sealed a 2-0 win against Nomme Kalju with this excellent strike into the roof of the net, deep into added time:
Well, that’s one way to introduce yourself to the #CelticFC faithful!

The Ukrainian looks to have a great left foot, and he certainly seems to have an eye for a goal.
Celtic actually signed Shved for €2m in January but they loaned him back to Karparty Lviv for the second half of last season.
The 22-year-old was pretty prolific playing in Ukraine, scoring 15 goals in just 26 appearances last campaign, and Hoops fans will be hoping he continues his great goalscoring form for the Scottish champions heading into the new season with his new club.
