Celtic left-back Boli Bolingoli was on the bench against West Ham in the pre-season friendly at the weekend.
It was the first time manager Ange Postecoglou had included the Belgian in a matchday squad, although the fullback still did not feature in the disappointing 6-2 defeat.
With Greg Taylor having not impressed recently, there has been a discussion among fans on Twitter about whether Bolingoli can make an unlikely return:
Not good enough technically. Needs sold and an upgrade on Taylor bought

Would be interesting to see how he fares in the formation Ange plays. Nothing to lose at this stage so YES.

We need to explore it if the club aren’t willing to invest and so far it doesn’t look like they are willing to invest to the level needed .

It would be a massive surprise if Bolingoli was handed a chance by Postecoglou. While a new manager should mean a clean slate for every player, the fact that the 26-year-old didn’t even come on for Taylor in the second half on Saturday suggests he will not get a shot at redemption.
Teenager Adam Montgomery was an unused substitute in the first leg of the Champions League qualifier against FC Midtjylland last week, and he appears to be above Bolingoli in the pecking order, despite only having played two senior games.
