Odsonne Edouard Makes Decision On Celtic Future Ahead Of Howe’s Potential Appointment

Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard will look to quit Parkhead even if Eddie Howe is appointed manager, according to reports in the UK.

The Frenchman is closing in on the final year of his contract at the Scottish club, and he has decided that he will leave the Hoops, rather than sign an extension to his current deal

Fans may have been hoping that the possible arrival of Howe as head coach would persuade Edouard into a rethink about his future but it seems the forward’s mind is made up.

There are a number of clubs who are said to be interested in the 23-year-old, including the likes of Arsenal, Aston Villa and Roma but it is believed that Leicester City would be the firm favourites for his signature.

It was reported at the weekend that Brendan Rodgers is planning a double swoop on Celtic, with the Foxes considering bids for both Edouard and Callum McGregor.
