REPORT: Milan Have Been Offered Celtic Star With Departure From Glasgow Said To Be “Imminent”

AC Milan have been offered Celtic centre-back Kristoffer Ajer, according to Todofichajes.com. The Spanish rumour mongers claim that an intermediary close to the Rossoneri has touted the availability of the Norwegian international.

English clubs including Arsenal, Everton, Manchester City, Manchester United and Wolves have been mentioned as also being interested in the defender but Milan are believed to be the keenest to snap up the 22-year-old.

It is said that the Serie A side would prefer to sign a centre-half on a free transfer but, with the club’s defence in dire need of reinforcements, they are seriously considering making a move for Ajer

The Norwegian’s agent revealed back in March that the player wanted to leave Celtic Park and Todofichajes now report that his departure from Glasgow is “imminent.”

It is important to point out that this Spanish source is notoriously unreliable so it is best to take this story with a large pinch of salt.
