Report Reveals Celtic’s Stance’s On Selling 25M Rated Star This Month

Celtic are not willing to sell Odsonne Edouard before the January transfer window closes, according to Tuttosport (via Sport Witness).

There were claims yesterday that the Hoops had dropped their asking price to £25m in order to offload the France Under 21 international but it is believed that any sale would only take place in the summer.

Tuttosport report that Juventus were considering a move for Edouard this month but Celtic’s stance on the transfer means they are now looking at other potential targets to improve their forward options.

AC Milan, Arsenal, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa have also been linked with the player but, even if a decent bid is made for the Frenchman in January, it appears it will be rejected.

Edouard has struggled for form this campaign and, combined with the fact that the player is unwilling to extend his current deal beyond 2022, his departure in the summer is looking more and more likely.
