Celtic are looking at renewing Manchester City winger Daniel Arzani’s loan for a third season, according to reports coming out of Australia.
The 20-year-old has played just once for the Hoops during his eighteen months at the Scottish champions due to an ACL injury, but it is believed that manager Neil Lennon has seen enough of the player to want him to stay for a third season:
Fans on Twitter are not sure why Celtic would consider keeping Arzani:
Ridiculous. Paying his wages to sit on the treatment table for 2 years and now we want to keep him another just to get a look at him? He will need to be a great player if/when he gets a game for ut to be worth the time

Wouldn't bother he won't play for us even with injuries because lenny seems to live Lewis Morgan ?

Just think it's too risky… We've basically been paying for his rehab since he joined and we have MJ, Shved and Dembele to get more game time next year ??

Bad news for Shved and Sinclair.

Rather give him a chance than Morgan and I think he can play in midfield as well

Keep him, give him a chance he's only 20 this injury could be the making of him, worst case very good squad player

It is being reported that the Australian international is open to staying at Celtic Park as he wants to repay the faith that the club have shown in him following his injury hell.
Since picking up the serious knee injury on his debut against Dundee in October last year, Arzani has undergone extensive rehabilitation and returned to play for the reserves in September. He has been pencilled in for a first-team return at the back end of December.
