“Right Now…” Celtic Ace Addresses Premier League Transfer Rumours After Switching Agents

Outside of Celtic Park

Celtic winger Liel Abada has played down speculation linking him with a move to the English Premier League.

The Israeli has recently switched agents from Dudu Dahan (who has strong connections to the Hoops) to Hussein Al Gaaod but, when asked about his future on international duty, Abada replied:

“Right now I’m concentrating on the national team, not on the Premier League. We’ll do our best (for the national side). There’s still a lot of work and the most important thing is to be humble, there are players and coaches who have been through a lot in their careers. I’m only trying to play a part in victory.”

The only English team that have been mentioned as potential suitors for Abada in recent months is Crystal Palace but talk about a move to the Eagles has cooled somewhat.

It appears that, despite changing representatives, the 20-year-old is fully focused on performing well for both Celtic and Israel. That mentality has certainly served him well so far this season.

Abada has racked up six goals in only seven league appearances, with his standout performances coming in the 9-0 win over Dundee United (where he scored a hat-trick) and his brace in the 4-0 victory against rivals Rangers in the derby earlier this month.
